Glentoran Women were proudly represented on the international stage this month as Nadene Caldwell, Mia Moore, and Aimee Kerr featured for Northern Ireland in FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying fixtures against Türkiye and Switzerland. Caldwell and Moore both started Northern Ireland's narrow 2-1 defeat away to Türkiye in Istanbul, while Kerr was introduced from the bench as Michael McArdle's side produced a spirited display. The second fixture proved a particularly memorable occasion for Kerr, who was handed her first senior international start in Northern Ireland's 2-1 defeat to group winners Switzerland at Mourneview Park. Moore was introduced from the bench and helped create Northern Ireland's late goal, while Caldwell was named among the substitutes as the hosts finished their qualifying campaign with a determined performance. Everyone at Glentoran Football Club congratulates Nadene, Mia, and Aimee on their international involvement and achievements with Northern Ireland.
